Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Manager Telemetry/Medical Surgical:
- Oversee a 30+ bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
- Train, educate and mentor nursing staff
- Bring creative solutions to Med-Surg and Telemetry dept
- Manage budgets to efficiently run the unit based upon the financial goals
- Promote compassionate, evidence-based care with RN’s and their patients
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively between departments
- Act as a liaison between Med-Surg/Telemetry staff and leaders
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing Preferred
- Registered Nurse RN license in the state of New York
- 3-5+ years proven leadership experience
- BLS Certification
