Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Progressive Care Unit
- Practice compassionate, evidence-based patient care
- Develop patient care plans
- Follow up and closely monitor patient progress
- Evaluate and treat PCU patients
- Administer medication as needed
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and families
- Assist doctors with treatment
- Ensure patient safety
- Maintain a sterile working environment
- Follow compliance and safety regulations
- Associate’s Degree Nursing Required
- BSN Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred
- ACLS preferred
- CPR and BLS
- Current RN Nursing license in the state of Massachusetts
- PCU experience a plus
