Responsibilities of the Surgical Technologist:
- Assist with technical responsibilities in operative procedures
- Transport patients for surgery
- Prep surgical tools for operating
- Perform efficient sterilization and decontamination on surgical instruments
- Respond promptly to each stage of the surgical procedure and anticipate the needs of the surgeon
- Follow all infection control policies and procedures
- Perform other duties to support the operative team
- Certification in Surgical Technology required within 6 months of hire
- High School Diploma required
- BLS Certification Required
- Certificate of completion from an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
- 1+ year surgical technology or operating room experience preferred
