Responsibilities for the Clinical Manager, Laboratory Point of Care:

• Oversee collection and processing in lab
• Manage clinical laboratory technologist staff
• Ensure safety and compliance throughout laboratory
• Accurately maintain records and data
• Analyze quality control data, make judgments concerning results and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision
• Respond thoroughly to inquiries regarding test results, methodology, test specificity and sensitivity
• Create departmental goals and objectives and oversee progress
• Review all instrument indicators and temperature monitors
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all patient information

Requirements for the Clinical Manager, Laboratory Point of Care:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Technology or relevant field required
• 3 years’ experience: clinical laboratory or blood gas laboratory
• RRT, MLT, MT, or RN Required
• 6+ years of clinical experience
