They are seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to deliver educational strategies to their critical care / stepdown unit. An ideal candidate has the ability to create engaging content and clearly communicate.
 
Responsibilities for the Nurse Educator Step Down/Critical Care:
 

• Create training materials and programs
• Develop creative educational materials
• Train nursing team with engaging techniques
• Implement educational strategies and work toward comprehensive goals
• Promote evidence-based nursing standards
• Work to improve processes and efficiencies throughout Stepdown/Critical Care Unit

 
 
Requirements for the Nurse Educator Step Down/Critical Care:
 

• BSN, Bachelor’s Science Nursing required
• MSN, Master’s Degree preferred
• Current Nursing license in state of New York
• Previous educational, clinical specialty or leadership experience preferred
• 5+ years clinical experience required
• Critical Care and Stepdown experience required
• High EQ and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire nursing staff
