Position:  OB Nurse Educator Obstetrics/Maternity

Salary: $60,000 - $93,000 annually

Responsibilities of the OB Nurse Educator Obstetrics/Maternity

• Utilize the latest evidence-based research to develop nursing education program and curriculum
• Provide clinical leadership, RN staff development and education to the Maternal Child Health Service Line
• Promote professional growth, nursing excellence throughout the service line
• Design and lead nursing orientation for all new nurses  
• Support Nursing Leadership strategy and goals throughout Department
• Focus on improving quality patient outcomes and performance improvement initiatives throughout Labor Delivery and Postpartum units.

 
Requirements of the OB Nurse Educator Obstetrics/Maternity

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) desired
• 5 years RN experience in Maternal Child Health
• 2+ years as Nurse Educator and/orClinical Leader
• Current NYS RN Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS
