Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Manager Wound Care Ostomy CWOCN
- Responsible for 24/7 supervision on Wound, Ostomy, Continence Unit
- Performance assessments and evaluations, hiring, firing
- Provide technological expertise with equipment and monitoring
- Bring experience in Wound and Ostomy patient care
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and families
- Collaborate with medical surgical nurses and team
- Maintain high patient satisfaction scores.
- Establish long and short-term goals for the entire department
- Collaborate with other nursing leadership and effectively communicate new strategies for department growth.
Requirements of the RN Nurse Wound Care Ostomy CWOCN
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required, Master’s Degree preferred
- CWOCN Certification preferrend
- 5+ years Inpatient experience in medical surgical and/or Would Care/Hyperbaric experience
- NJ RN Nursing License
- 3 year nurse management experience
