Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Manager Bone Marrow Transplant BMT, Oncology 

• Evaluate oncology patients

• Provide cancer treatment, administer chemotherapy 

• Ensure proper processes and procedures are followed

• Create unique care plans, follow up on patient progress

• Hire and train oncology and hematology nursing team 

• Maintain compliance and safety throughout department 

• Motivate nursing staff and promote positive atmosphere

• Delegate responsibilities to team to ensure proper care given to every patient 
   

Requirements of the RN Nurse Manager Bone Marrow Transplant BMT, Oncology 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, BSN required

• Master’s Degree highly preferred

• 5+ years oncology nursing experience

• Nurse Management experience 

• Proven Nurse Leadership success

   

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

• Active state RN license in District of Columbia DC

• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment

• ACLS as required by the facility
