As a key member of the nursing team, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive psychiatric nursing care and contribute to the development and implementation of groundbreaking approaches to mental health treatment.

‍Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional psychiatric nursing care using evidence-based practices and cutting-edge interventions.
• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, formulate nursing diagnoses, and create individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor responses, collaborating closely with the medical team to ensure holistic treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative treatment strategies that integrate traditional methods with emerging therapies and technologies.
• Respond effectively to crises, employing de-escalation techniques, risk assessment, and coordination of emergency interventions.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records, documenting patient progress, interventions, and outcomes.

‍Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN Nursing Degree is a plus
• Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts
• 1+ years clinical nursing experience
