Acute Care Hospital Seeks Senior Accountant with Healthcare Experience

This innovative hospital is seeking a Senior Hospital Accountant with hospital experience. This is a great opportunity to help lead the financial department and bring strategic solutions. Responsibilities for the Senior Hospital Accountant:

• Keep records up-to-date
• Create accurate records
• Prepare financial reports and budgets
• Resolve account inaccuracies
• Collaborate with healthcare accounting team
• Ensure proper budgeting and financial health of hospital
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and best practices
• Manage monthly closing processes
• Help oversee accounting team

Requirements for the Senior Hospital Accountant:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, required
• Master’s Degree in Accounting preferred
• CPA Required
• 3+ years hospital experience required
• 3+ years financial accounting experience
• Financial leadership experience
• Medical billing experience preferred
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
