• Evaluate and provide treatment options for oncology patients
• Assist RNs when providing cancer treatment, administer chemotherapy
• Create unique care plans, report and follow up on patient progress
• Hire and train oncology and hematology nursing team with a welcoming manner
• Maintain compliance and safety by educating and training throughout department
• Motivate and act as a mentor to nursing staff and promote positive atmosphere
• Delegate responsibilities to team to ensure patient positive outcomes

Requirements of the Bone Marrow Transplant BMT/Oncology RN Manager:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, BSN required
• Master’s Degree highly preferred
• 5+ years oncology nursing experience
• Nurse Management experience
• Proven Nurse Leadership success
• Active state RN license in District of Columbia DC
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment
• ACLS as required by the facility
